Pointers for an animated bar chart

It looks very cool how you can make embeddable animated charts on plotly. However, even the intro example is confusing me a little, maybe one of you won’t mind helping me out here.

Grids and data+layout+frames sound very powerful. But could they simply help me do the following:

  1. Take a table (of real numbers) with 100 rows and 38 columns,
  2. For each column plot the number in the rows on a bar chart (with 100 bars),
  3. Loop over the columns while doing this (as expected, the scale and the labeling of the chart should not change, but the column name/number should be printed somewhere)

Are grids easy to upload from such a format?

Can I easily tell frames to loop over these columns?
