Plotting State-wide data for the state of Texas

Hello all,

I am curious if anybody knows if Plotly has a way to plot statewide local data? I worked through the Plotly graph library for a global visualization project, although I am not yet sure how to create state-focused graphs.

Working on a freelance project centered around the state of Texas and it would be great to add data visualizations for election data for example.
