Hi, I’m using Plotly to display a dataset with a lot of points,[](https://geometrrydashapk.com/)and the chart becomes noticeably slow when zooming or panning. Is there a recommended way to improve the performance, without reducing too much of the data?

@lilyhazel265 have you checked this section of the documentation? [High performance visualization in Python](https://plotly.com/python/performance/) , it could give you a good idea of how plot rendering works. Also, you can figure out what figure type is best for you.

Perhaps the following might be of interest for you; [FlexViz: the successor of plotly-resampler](https://community.plotly.com/t/flexviz-the-successor-of-plotly-resampler/97707)

FlexViz offers larger-than-ram data visualization and has the fastest rendering times of both in-memory and on-disk data (of the tools that were benchmarked): [Benchmarks - FlexViz](https://flexviz.tech/benchmarks)
