# Nbinsx and nbinsy in Histogram

Hello team,

I have a question about histogram in Plotly. In the below link, we have all the parameters from plotly histogram and among them, “nbinsx” and “nbinsy” seem to have the same description. Can you please let us know what exact difference in detail?
