Is it possible to color only dots based on months

If i use month as a criteria I get completely useless result. What I would like to do is to color dotes based on months, say Jan = Blue Feb = red for each of the years. Is there a way to code around this

To edit the colours, select the chart → Format → Select Series A from the drop down on top left. In the format pane, select the fill and border colours for the marker .

Thanks Lucy, but I am not using Excel but Python to do this!
