Intermittent error displaying large 3D Network chart

I’ve created a 3D Network chart (via Scatter3d) with about 250 nodes. When displaying the chart via the Plotly “My Files” dashboard, sometimes I get the following error:

Oops! An error occured while loading this plot’s data.

Other times (e.g. 5 minutes later), the chart is displayed correctly. I don’t have this issue with similar charts with fewer nodes. I’m using the Community (free) license, which has some sort of dataset size limitation, but as the chart is sometimes displayed I don’t see how that would be the issue.

Does anyone else have experience with large 3D Network charts? We’re evaluating Plotly for use with our clients, and it looks great for most types of charts, but this intermittent behavior for complex charts is worrisome.
