How to Preserve the State of Returned Graphs

Hello,

I am looking at the Stock Tickers example from the App Gallery but I am having trouble preserving the state of the graphs zoom etc. when I add another tcker. I have found a similar example that returns figures and thus passes the figure back into the callback (which is deep copied and some settings preserved) but because the stock tickers example doesnt store any reference in the div (only id=‘graphs’) I dont know how to pass any state information back to the callback? Any help appreciated.

I’ve come to believe that we actually just need to solve this on the graphing library level, rather than requiring users to program this themselves. I’ve created an issue here to track it: https://github.com/plotly/dash-core-components/issues/198
