Hei, I have used plotly regularly in windows. Last two days, I can not use due to the error below. It would be great if you could have any suggestion.
Failed to install dependencies for environment ‘application_backend’. stdout: stderr: Resolved 52 packages in 7ms × Failed to download `dash-embedded==3.0.0` ├─▶ Failed to read from the distribution cache ╰─▶ failed to query metadata of file `C:\Program Files\Plotly Studio\resources\dash_embedded-3.0.0-py3-none-any.whl`: The system cannot find the file specified. (os error 2) help: `dash-embedded` (v3.0.0) was included because `plotly-studio-project` (v0.1.0) depends on `dash-embedded`
@adamschroeder I am also getting the same error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled plotly, restarted my computer, and still get this when I load up Plotly Studio:
Failed to install dependencies for environment ‘application_backend’. stdout: stderr: Resolved 52 packages in 11ms × Failed to download `dash-design-kit==2.2.3` ├─ Failed to read from the distribution cache ╰─ failed to query metadata of file `C:\Program Files\Plotly Studio\resources\dash_design_kit-2.2.3-py3-none-any.whl`: The system cannot find the file specified. (os error 2) help: `dash-design-kit` (v2.2.3) was included because `plotly-studio-project` (v0.1.0) depends on `dash-design-kit`
Hi @bpanos
Our Engineering team is aware of this, and they have confirmed that they have seen other users with this particular issue. The bug fix is in the sprint queue and will be addressed this week. It will likely be a few days before the release with the fix ships, however. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let me know.
