We are using plotly.js in our app, and currently provide the user capability to download a PNG image and CSV of plot data using the standard plotting controls.
We’d like to add the capability to download SVG and PDF images as well.
The Static Image Export support page (under the Formats Supported section) says:
"The common image formats: ‘PNG’, ‘JPG/JPEG’ are supported. In addition, formats like ‘EPS’, ‘SVG’ and ‘PDF’ are also supported.
Note: The SVG, EPS and PDF Formats are only available for Plotly Professional users. You can get more details on our pricing page"
Is there indeed a Professional tier for plotly.js that would unlock SVG and PDF download? This is unclear from the documentation and info I can find on the pricing page or in the forums. If so, we would be interested in subscribing. (The only caveat is that our app needs to run with no plotly dependency aside from plotly.js – for example it needs to be able to run behind a firewall or on an airgap network, so Plotly cloud is not an option.)
