Disable zoom in the negative area of axis

Hi,

I have request from my customer to disable zoom and scroll only in negative area of axis. But in positive area it should work. In other words I have chart always only in positive part of axis. It is simple chart without any complicated stuff and we want to keep scroll and zoom for this part.
I know that it is possible to disable zoom for whole axis. But how to disable zoom and scroll for the part of axis? I didn’t find proper solution for this task and decided to ask here.

Is it possible to disable zoom and scroll only in negative area of axis in plotly.js? If so then could you please give me a hint how to do this?

As this post is two years old, is this now possible to disable zooming into the negative or is there a workaround?
