# Dashtable Dropdown typeerror

Hi, I am running the Dash dropdown example from the user guide but always returns the type error below. I have tried to update dash but it still didn’t work.

TypeError: Unexpected keyword argument `dropdown`

I believe that you’ll need to upgrade Dash - the syntax on the user guide is using the latest version: pip install dash —upgrade

Hey Chriddyp, thank you for answer my question. I have already upgraded the dash and dashtable but the problem is still there. The dashtable is currently in version 4.0.1. Thank you again for your help!
