YOUR NEW ROLE

As a pivotal member of BESTSELLER’s Data & Analytics department, you will spearhead the development of interactive AI solutions, applications, and dashboards that are the cornerstone of our data-driven decision-making process. Collaborating closely with a team of expert data scientists, engineers, analysts, and various stakeholders from the business. Your role is not just about building solutions but revolutionizing how we understand and utilize data.

YOUR TEAM

You will be an integral part of a dynamic team within the Data & Analytics department, a group of over 50 data enthusiasts driving the data agenda at BESTSELLER. Our focus is not only on delivering unmatched value to our end consumers but also on maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and quality. You will join a product team of eight highly skilled professionals, all committed to harnessing the potential of data to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and drive revenue growth.

YOUR IMPACT

In your role as a Senior AI Application Engineer, you will:

  • Drive the development of data-driven services and visualizations using tools like Python, Plotly Dash, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, Databricks, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless data flow and successful feature implementation.
  • Drive application development, data modeling, and UI/UX development, all aimed at delivering value to our end consumers and ensuring that satisfaction and quality are always on the radar.

YOUR PROFILE

We are seeking an energetic, proactive team player with:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and a genuine interest in data engineering and visualization.
  • Proven experience in containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and developing/maintaining production-grade web applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying machine learning-driven applications in production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective technical presentations to non-technical stakeholders.

The following qualifications would also be an advantage:

  • Proficiency in Plotly Dash, cloud computing services (GCP, AWS, Azure), and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
