**This role is open to be based in: Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Rochester, NY; Washington, D.C.; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA**

Edelman is seeking an Analyst, Data Science to join our growing team in any geography where we currently have offices. This person will work to support our predictive analytics business by using a range of data science techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making.

### Responsibilities:

- Use a range of data science techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making
- Consolidate, clean, and re-structure data from multiple disparate sources to prepare them for analytics
- Assist with crafting stories from analytical insights and preparing client-facing materials
- Manage assigned tasks to the project schedule and coordinate with supervisor regarding prioritization
- Collaborate with client and internal teams to learn about business needs and solution design

### Basic Qualifications:

- BS or MS degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
- Working knowledge of regression analysis, tree-based models, NLP, and/or time-series modeling techniques
- Working knowledge of a statistical programming language, such as R, SAS, or Python
- Experience with SQL

### Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines
- Experience with big data and Spark/PySpark
- Experience with Dash/Plotly and/or Bokeh
