Hi @mo_taweel, you could specify ranges for your value and assign a color to these ranges.

@jezlax The normalization of range ends, above, was necessary to define the discrete colorscale. The original values are also normalized by plotly.js in order to map them to the coresponding color. You only have to insert a suitable text as a colorbar ticktext (see the image below). Hi @sry89 welcome to the forums. What I came up with is the following: bin values into “color clusters” and use these “color clusters” afterwards to assign a color via the chosen colorscale.
