Continuous color scale for scatter traces added individually

Hi @Madrigallo, if mode='lines you can only apply one color for the complete trace → you cant have a line with different colors based on anything.

Hi, unfortunately, the line_color only accepts a single value. If you want to have different colors for line segments, you will have to add traces for each segment, here an example:

Hi, I’m trying to plot multiple traces on one figure and color the lines according to a continuous color scale using plotly.graph_objects. I’m having trouble getting them to color correctly.
